Mary Ann Sterling founded Grandparent Raising Grandchildren of Brevard Co FL Inc. in 1994 to champion the needs of relative caregivers and their families. Through innovative training, counseling, and advocacy, she empowers caregivers who step in to provide nurturing homes for neglected and abused children. As a grandmother with a heartfelt vision, Mrs. Sterling is dedicated to enhancing the lives of relative care families and the broader community In recognition of her impactful work, she was honored as Florida's Woman of the Year for 2023.

Jim Proctor is a seasoned leader with a distinguished career as the General Manager and VP at L3Harris Corporation. With extensive experience in program acquisition and execution of government contracts. Currently, Jim serves as the chairman of the GRG of Brevard Board of Directors, where he actively supports the organization through his leadership, funding, and volunteer efforts. His commitment to service and excellence continues to impact the community positively.

Lillian and her husband Bill are dedicated caregivers, raising their two grandchildren with love and support. As active volunteers with GRG of Brevard, they play a vital role in their community. Lillian excels in maintaining constant communication through social media and takes the lead as the event organizer for the annual golf tournaments and various fundraisers throughout the year. Their commitment to giving back truly makes a difference in the lives of many.

Natasha joined Grandparents Raising Grandchildren of Brevard Co FL Inc in 2019, collaborating closely with Mary Ann to deliver exceptional services to the clients of GRG. With a strong commitment to the organization's mission and vision, Ms. Walsh is dedicated to continuing the work that Mary Ann initiated at GRG.. Passion for supporting families and enhancing the lives of the at-risk children is at the heart of her efforts.

Mike Thomas, a retired Vice President-Controller at3Harris Corporation’s Government Communication Systems Division, now serves on the Board of Directors for GRG of Brevard. His extensive experience in financial stewardship is crucial in guiding the organization and fostering its growth. Mike’s commitment and expertise continue to make a positive impact within the community.
